I am an in-network Traditional Medicare provider, which means Medicare covers 80% of the fees and the patient is responsible for 20% (which is sometimes covered by secondary insurance, if applicable).
I am also an in-network provider for most Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) commercial plans, including Horizon BCBS New Jersey (and their Medicare Advantage plans), which typically involve a copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
I am in the process of leaving Aetna’s network and therefore will no longer be scheduling new patients with Aetna insurance.
Please note that I am also not in network with any Medicaid plans.
The out-of-network fee for a complete neuropsychological evaluation, including the intake / testing session and the feedback session, typically ranges from $2500-$3000, depending on the complexity of the case.
For your convenience, most payments are accepted for copays and full fees: cash, check, credit card, and HSA/FSA cards. Electronic options such as PayPal and Venmo are also accepted.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, I would appreciate at least 24 hours’ advance notice, whenever possible. Without this advance notice, I am often unable to fill the appointment slot with another patient.
However, I understand that sometimes things happen at the last minute that make you miss an appointment. Therefore, I allow for one ‘no-show.’ If you miss your appointment two times without advance notice, I will not reschedule a third testing visit.
